Creature Discomfort, 2013

In this assignment, we were tasked with creating a stuffed animal which tackles an uncomfortable topic, using only recycled textiles found in our classroom.

I’d recently learned about monkey fur coats, and decided to create a stuffed animal monkey wearing a vest made of what resembles human skin - with a (faux) snake skin collar, of course.
